WWDC 2025: All the Confirmed Announcements and the Strongest Rumors

Index
The Worldwide Developers Conference 2025 is approaching and, like every year, Apple is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the year. The event begins on Monday, June 9, in both online and in-person format from Apple Park. It promises to be one of the most significant events of the past decade. With official confirmations and increasingly strong rumors, it seems Apple is ready to dive into the field of artificial intelligence.

Announcements Confirmed by Apple
Although Apple always keeps its strongest cards for the event, there are already clear hints of what they will present.
iOS 19 and the Biggest Redesign Since iOS 7
Apple has confirmed that iOS 19 will be “one of the biggest redesigns in years,” featuring a new, more dynamic home and lock screen, more interactive widgets, and deep AI integration in apps like Safari, Notes, and Mail.
Siri will have its moment in the spotlight: it seems poised to move beyond being the limited assistant we know, better understanding context and providing much more useful responses.

Apple Intelligence: AI the Apple Way
One of the most talked-about announcements is the debut of “Apple Intelligence,” a set of features that will be integrated directly into the operating system, focused on being useful, private, and secure. The idea is to compete with ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot, but with a focus on local privacy, without sending your data to the cloud.
Apple has already confirmed that they will discuss machine learning, language models, and new APIs for developers.
Beyond the iPhone: macOS, visionOS, watchOS…
Significant updates are also expected for:
- macOS 15: bringing improvements in multitasking and continuity between devices.
- watchOS 12, tvOS 19, and visionOS 2
- Improvements in Xcode, Swift, and new APIs and tools aimed at developers.

Strongest Rumors
Although not everything is confirmed, there are leaks and reliable sources gaining ground, and it wouldn’t be surprising if they come to fruition.
Vision Pro 2
There's talk of a second generation of Vision Pro, lighter, more comfortable and with better battery life. The bad news? It might not launch this year.

Mac with M4 Chip
Following the arrival of the M3, a new MacBook Pro or Mac Studio with M4 chip is expected, designed specifically for AI tasks and improved energy efficiency.
Siri Redesigned with Generative AI
Perhaps the most anticipated: a completely new Siri. This time, it seems poised to have generative AI, capable of maintaining natural conversations and better understanding context. It will also be able to work integrated with system apps, like ChatGPT or Alexa.
Compatibility: Which Devices Will Be Left Out?
With so many changes on the horizon, it's expected that some older models will be left out of iOS 19. According to rumors, the iPhone X, XR, and XS could be the first to miss out on updates.
