Why we recommend it
It’s the display that integrates best with a Mac with Apple silicon: a single Thunderbolt 5 cable carries video, audio, camera, and up to 96 W of charging. The 27-inch 5K panel keeps the same specifications as the 2022 model; what’s new are the Thunderbolt 5 ports, Desk View in the camera, and deeper bass. If you already have the previous one, there’s no need to upgrade.
Before buying, decide on two things. The stand is chosen when configuring the purchase, and the height-adjustable option is the one that adds ergonomics. Nano-texture glass only makes sense with direct light: its finish is the surface itself, so any damage requires replacing the panel.
If you need 120 Hz or HDR, the option is the Studio Display XDR.
