Google is preparing for a new Made by Google event on October 8, 2025, where, alongside the expected Pixel 10, the company could showcase the evolution of its ecosystem. Attention will not only be on its new flagship, but also on three products aimed at strengthening the end-to-end user experience: the Pixel Fold 2, the Pixel Watch 4, and the Pixel Buds 2a.

Pixel Fold 2: slimmer and more refined

Although Google has not confirmed its existence, renders and leaks point to a slimmer design, with an improved hinge and a less protruding camera module.

  • Possible chip: Tensor G4
  • Focus: greater portability and ergonomics without sacrificing screen size
  • Goal: position itself as a more mature rival to Samsung and OnePlus in the foldable segment

If confirmed, the Fold 2 would arrive as more of an aesthetic evolution than a radical technical leap, refining details that users of the original model had been asking for.

Pixel Watch 4: a leap in display and battery life

Google's smartwatch has been the subject of the most leaks in recent weeks:

  • Sizes: 41 mm and 45 mm
  • Display: Actua 360 with up to 3,000 nits of brightness
  • Battery: 30 h (41 mm) and 40 h (45 mm), with 25% faster charging
  • Features: dual-frequency GPS, ECG, SpO₂, fall detection, deep integration with Gemini AI and Wear OS 6
  • Colors: Iris, Lemongrass, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Moonstone

Despite the anticipation, its availability is rumored to be delayed until October or November due to refinements in the new wireless charging system.

Pixel Buds 2a: Google's new accessible audio option

Designed as a more affordable option than the Buds Pro, the new Pixel Buds 2a will retain the brand's minimalist look and arrive in colors coordinated with the rest of the ecosystem, including Moonstone.

  • Focus: a more competitive price without sacrificing sound quality or key features
  • Connectivity: optimized integration with Pixel devices and Google Assistant voice commands
  • Like the Watch 4, they could go on sale a few weeks after the event.

Possible surprises: Pixel Tablet and Nest Hub

Although there have been no recent leaks, Google may still show:

  • An updated Pixel Tablet with better performance and battery life
  • A Nest Hub with a detachable display, a concept rumored in previous years that would integrate smart speaker features with a portable tablet

Both remain speculative, but they would fit into Google's strategy of expanding its smart home ecosystem.

Conclusion

The October event could mark an important step in consolidating Google's ecosystem. The Pixel Fold 2 would bring maturity to the foldable segment, the Pixel Watch 4 would deliver a leap in display and battery life, and the Pixel Buds 2a would offer quality audio to a broader audience. If Google complements this with surprises such as a new Pixel Tablet or a redesigned Nest Hub, it could challenge Apple and Samsung not only in smartphones, but across all key technology fronts.
