Meta Glasses by Kylie adds Ivory: Starfire price and features

Meta Glasses by Kylie expands its lineup with Ivory, a new light-colored finish for the Starfire design introduced in June 2026. The change announced during Meta Connect affects the color, not the hardware: it keeps the oval shape, camera, open-ear audio, and artificial intelligence features of the original collection.

The new combination uses an Ivory frame with Black lenses and starts at US$399. Compared with the darker variants, it creates a stronger contrast without abandoning the idea that defined the collaboration: AI glasses that first try to work as a fashion accessory.

What changed in Meta Glasses by Kylie during Connect 2026

Meta summed up the update as a new color for Starfire. Ivory joins the catalog without changing the camera, battery life, or controls, so it is not a second generation or an edition with additional features.

The announcement of the 2026 lineup keeps the starting price at US$399. It also confirms that Meta Glasses is expanding to Mexico, South Korea, and Singapore, with Brazil and the United Arab Emirates among the next markets.

Starfire began as a fashion collection in June

Meta introduced Starfire on June 23 as Kylie Jenner’s first technology collaboration. Its original launch described a slim oval frame inspired by the entrepreneur’s personal style, visually distinct from the rectangular Meta Adventurer and the bulkier Meta Fury.

The frame is designed to sit slightly lower on the bridge of the nose. The camera and capture indicator are integrated into the corners, while a small gem-like detail on the lens reinforces the edition’s identity. In its test, Bustle noted that the technology is fairly discreet, although it felt heavier than conventional sunglasses.

3K camera, open-ear audio, and a dedicated voice for Meta AI

Starfire integrates a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and records video at up to 3K. It lets users take photos or clips with their voice or the frame controls, while a front LED alerts nearby people when a capture is being made.

The open-ear speakers play music, calls, and responses without fully blocking outside sound. They are paired with six microphones for commands, messages, and hands-free communications. The collection’s most distinctive feature is the ability to hear Meta AI in Kylie Jenner’s voice.

Meta AI can answer questions about what the camera sees, recommend places, control playback, and translate conversations in more than 20 languages. Availability varies by country, language, and linked services.

The future integration of Muse into Meta’s glasses will extend those queries into multi-step tasks. It will not be exclusive to Starfire: it is part of the planned software evolution for the compatible family.

More than eight hours of battery life and customizable controls

Meta advertises more than eight hours of use on a charge. The foldable case provides up to 40 additional hours and adds an interior mirror, a detail that fits the collection’s fashion-focused approach.

The action button can open Meta AI or activate a user-selected function. The glasses also support voice commands and touch control, while the Meta AI app is used to configure them, import captures, and check battery status.

Fit and prescription lens compatibility

The frame includes three-way adjustable nose pads, adjustable temple tips, and overextension hinges. These options make it easier to fine-tune glasses that contain more components and weigh more than a conventional model.

Starfire supports prescription lenses, and the Rx Lens Swap program allows them to be changed after purchase without voiding the warranty if the work is done through an authorized provider. Meta indicated a total compatible range from -12 to +2.25, while its store offered direct configurations from -6 to +2.25 at launch.

Starfire Ivory price and availability

Meta Starfire Kylie Edition in Ivory starts at US$399. The official product page brings together the available variants, while the purchase page lets users check prescription lenses, shipping, and availability for each market.

In Mexico, Meta announced a starting price of MXN$6,299 and exclusive sales of the Kylie edition through Meta.com. Availability, lens types, and final price may vary by country and prescription.

The Meta Glasses by LISA collection offers two shapes and more collectible elements; Starfire focuses on a single silhouette and a voice experience associated with Kylie. In both cases, the camera, audio, and core Meta AI experience belong to the shared platform.

Among all the Meta Connect 2026 announcements, Ivory is a small but easy-to-understand update: it expands the style options without forcing buyers to evaluate another spec sheet. Anyone who already owns Starfire does not get a functional upgrade by switching colors. For a first purchase, the decision comes down to the contrast of the new light frame, the original dark finishes, and the value of paying US$399 for a fashion edition of Meta Glasses.
